Nanny Turner’s Sweet Potato Pie

2 1/2 lbs Sweet Potatoes
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter or shortening

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 well-beaten eggs
1/3 cup sweet milk
Pour in unbaked Pie shell and bake 40 minutes at 325 degrees
Garnish with Whipped Cream
